The microscopic mechanism of the occurrence ferroelectric properties in M-type barium hexaferrites is investigated by experimental and first-principle computation methods. analysis magnetic, X-ray, Mössbauer measurements BaFe12O19 samples ascertains correlation between thermal factor process annealing their functional properties. remnant polarization at room temperature contradicts description crystal structure framework centrosymmetric space group P63?mmc (No. 194), which one symmetry operations inversion center. Therefore, was analyzed frameworks SG 194) non-centrosymmetric P63mc 186). computed value for a unit cell ? 3.5 ?C?cm2. carried out on path connecting polar non-polar structures considered terms total energy barrier. Our result allows ascertaining direct relationship broken spatial-inversion hexaferrite.
